Headspace: Discussion Panel about Art Direction, Industry Trends and Outsourcing, Thur. April 17th Posted: April 9th, 2014
Join us Thursday, April 17th for a discussion panel and Q&A session with some of the entertainment industry’s top artists. Dylan Cole, David Levy, Neil Huxley, Marc Silvestri and Francesca Esquenazi work on films, games, cinematics and comic books in various capacities and will share some of their recent work and insights on art direction, industry trends and outsourcing.
Dylan Cole is an art director, production designer, concept artist and matte painter who specializes in film, video games, and commercials. His recent credits include Avatar, Malificent and Avatar 2. Neil Huxley is the Creative Director of Digital Domain and was the creator of the “Take Down the Terror” launch spot for Dead Space 3 and trailers for The Darkness II and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Marc Silvestri is the founder and CEO of Top Cow Productions and creator of The Darkness. David Levy is an art director/senior concept artist whose credits include TRON: Legacy and Prometheus. Additionally, he wrote, directed and produced, Plug. Francesca Esquenazi, an art producer at Riot Games.
Headspace is a casual community gathering with the goal of bringing together artists in the entertainment industry to provide insight, inspiration and guidance for up and coming visual effects artists, game designers and animators. This event is free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
