Currently a resident artist at The Gnomon Workshop, Ryan studied traditional art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts & digital art at The Gnomon School of VFX. He was the first product manager of ZBrush & has consulted with companies such as ILM, Sony Pictures Imageworks, & EA on digital sculpting into their production pipelines.

After apprenticing for world renowned sculptor Richard MacDonald, Eric has worked in creating arguably some of the world’s best anatomical reference figures. Through rigorous study & live dissection, Eric has gained a profound anatomical knowledge as it pertains to artists. He teaches artists critical foundations of basic to advanced anatomy.

With a master’s degree from the MIT Media Lab & study of traditional fine art at the Florence Academy of Art, Italy, Scott has transferred years of knowledge into his Anatomy for Digital Artists courses.
