Shake for Practical Solutions in Daily Production
This course shows how to use the tools in Shake for practical solutions in daily production. Using real world examples, course instruction will cover topics such as color space, bit depth, & film format, advanced keying & despill technique, working with matte edges, importing and exporting track data with Maya, advanced color correcting (ranges, curves, targeting specific colors), blur & grain (the secret glue), warp and morph, understanding creating shadows (direction, distance, soft or hard) and DOF (close vs. far color, contrast, sat, and env fog). Students will learn to evaluate the best way to approach a shot and what tools provide a viable solution.
