Texture Mapping 2
Get a Jump Start for the Game Industry
Being a character artist in today's interactive industry demands a wealth of skills from the artist. Traditional art skills combined with highly complex three dimensional programs combine to create a left and right-brained employee. Analytical thinking, an advanced artistic eye, and the ability to problem solve are all daily tasks.
This course will present the fundamentals in creating a deformable character for an interactive product. Subjects will include maximizing detail in your allowed triangle count and texture size, visual hierarchal detail, color theory, faked volume using light, and predictive creation.
