Character Design
The Creative Process of Character Design
The main focus of this course is to teach the process of character design in the entertainment field. Students learn how to take a character from the beginning to finish, going through the preproduction stages of Research, Blue sky, Editing, and final presentation. While grasping these fundamentals, students develop confidence and professionalism in their work, enabling them to focus more on the actual design choices in character design.
Basic tools such as thumbnails, silhouette design, figure invention, props, costumes, character archi-types, markers sketch and digital painting will be covered and demoed in the course.
