Use ZBrush to Convey Accurate Anatomical Form

This course builds on the skills acquired in the ten-week ZBrush course, creating a foundation of anatomical knowledge that will guide students through using ZBrush to convey accurate anatomical form.

Lectures for this course cover the fundamentals of digital sculpting as it pertains to representing the human form. Special focus will be paid to the formal relationships between the major masses of the human body, a simple structural understanding of the complexities of anatomy, and the vagries of skin and surface level details.

Topics covered include: proportion, gesture, muscle origins and insertions, comparative measurements, as well as, sculpting techniques to rendering form.

At the conclusion of the course students have an understanding of how to use the ZBrush toolset to sculpt, as well as a foundation in anatomical structure and terminology.
