Design Exciting New Worlds and Levels for Games
Building Environments or levels in video games has become very important in the video game industry. To design portions or entire levels with playability in mind takes special knowledge and particular skills. Working within technical limitations of how much detail to add and where can affect your final design. This course is designed to present students with the techniques used in today’s game design. Course lectures will include LOD's (level of detail), vertex lighting, UV unwrapping for tile textures, and other related topics. The main focus of this course is to better prepare artists for successful employment in the PC or console gaming Industry.
