History and Principles of Animation
Deeper Insight into Animation Basics
The History and Priciples of Animation course is a detailed, occasionally irreverent look at the animation process, it's history and wide-ranging techniques, using the twelve traditional principles of animation as a springboard. The ten discussions are profusely illustrated with animated and live action films that are ‘deconstructed' and explained so that students not only get a deeper insight into animation basics, but also gain a better understanding of the nuances that differentiate the emotion of animation from simple movement.
