Timing for Animation
Create Personality for your Characters with Timing
This course is a classical-animation approach to timing, rhythm and 2D animation techniques as they apply to computer animation. Students learn how to create personality and character through timing: From the bouncing ball (with an attitude) to the full character. Different methods of animating a scene on paper and how to translate it to the 3D world are addressed. Subjects include squash, stretch, overlap, follow through, primary and secondary actions, motion analysis, locomotion of two and four legged animals.
