Angie has created animation for film, music videos, ride films, games, and commercials for the past 17 years. Her specialty is character and creature animation. The challenge of moving back and forth amongst the "sweet and endearing" and the "evil and deadly" is what she really enjoys about her job. Between 2000 and 2009 Angie has worked on Oscar winning films, received two Clios and one VES award for her film and commercial work.
Recently, Angie has moved into project management roles involving artist recruitment, art direction ensuring clients creative vision and direction are met, creative and approval processes, training and mentoring structures with both short and long term goals in mind using creative team building techniques. Angie has skills in business development, business marketing, tech product marketing, and new market strategies.
In addition, Angie has consulted shows, both big and small. Everyone needs a little help with the challenges that production brings. She consulted on pipeline structures for feature films with Disney; studio structures and team building at the commercial boutique Motion Theory, facial animatiomn studio Image Metrics and game studio Angel Studios; advised on character pipelines at Zoic Studios for episodic TV and commercials; and guided the tech on artist friendly character tools for Houdini v9 software at Side Effects.
