Sam Gebhardt is the owner, founder and creative director at Home Grown Apps.
After years of working for some of the biggest studios in Hollywood, Sam decided he wanted to fulfill a life long dream — create his own beautiful and inspiring stories for children. His first idea involves a bunny, a tree and a great little story for your little one's by the name of Bedtime Bunny Tales.
He began his professional career at Gulfstream Aerospace creating beautiful, virtual interiors for jets. Although it was an amazing start, he knew he wanted to work in the entertainment industry. Within just a couple years he moved to Venice Beach, California and began his Hollywood career at Blur Studios. After living on the beach, working long hours and creating some amazing art, Sam was off to Dreamworks, just south of San Francisco. He was there for just a short time until he moved back to Los Angeles to work as an artist at Sony, Imageworks in Culver City.
Sam has been a part of such titles as Sponge Bob Square Pants, Shrek 2, Open Season, Disney's Twice Upon a Christmas and The Aviator.
Sam is originally from Ft. Collins, CO but now resides in Los Angeles with his wife Angela and two rescue pups, Daisy and Suzy.
