Apply for financial aid
We're here to help
Gnomon is pleased provide a Virtual Financial Aid Office (VFAO) to assist students in applying for Federal Student Financial Aid. The VFAO provides students with a thorough overview of the Financial Aid process as well as the step-by-step guide through the application process. The process for Financial Aid requires that the student submit all of the forms and procedures in a timely manner. We strongly suggest that you review the FAQ portion of the Virtual Financial Aid Office (VFAO).
Applying for Federal Student Aid
Each student must complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Information regarding the FAFSA can be found at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The FAFSA is available online at and can be submitted electronically. Electronic signatures - both the student and a parent, if applicable, are required. You will need to include Gnomon's OPE-ID, which is 040764, on the FAFSA. A Student Aid Report (SAR) will be sent via e-mail within three to seven days. Information on the SAR is necessary to determine a student's eligibility. After receiving the SAR, students must visit our Virtual Financial Aid Office (VFAO) and complete an Online Interview. Students are welcome to apply anytime during the Academic year, however we recommend that you work in conjunction with Gnomon’s Admissions department.
Gnomon and VFAO are dedicated to serving your needs and to helping you obtain the Federal financial assistance you need to achieve your educational goals.
Gnomon also offers financial aid through Federal Student Aid. Students who are enrolled in the Certificate in Digital Production for Entertainment on a full-time basis and are citizens of the United States may be eligible to receive Pell Grant and/or Stafford Loan financial assistance.
Pell Grants, administered by the U.S. Department of Education through participating institutions, provide a financial aid foundation to students with high financial need. The Federal Stafford Loan Program provides both subsidized and unsubsidized loans to students.
